A little lift for your own lashes
A lash lift shapes your natural lashes into a lifted position, while a tint adds colour and definition. It works with the lashes you already have, so your natural length and fullness play a part in the result.
At Waxbae, our Elleebana lash lift and tint is R350. If you’re happy with your lash shape and just want a little more definition, we also offer lash or brow tinting at R100. You’ll find both on our treatment menu.

How long will your lash lift last?
A lash lift typically lasts around six to eight weeks, depending on your natural lash cycle and aftercare. As new lashes grow through, the finish gradually changes. You may also notice the tint fading before the lift has fully grown out.
Let us know when you last had a lift or extensions. We’ll consider the condition of your lashes before another treatment. Giving them enough time between appointments helps avoid over-processing and breakage.
Keeping your lashes looking lovely
A few gentle habits make aftercare easier. Follow the instructions for the products used during your appointment, especially if you’ve had a different lash system before.
With Elleebana, water alone does not undo a completed lift. Heat, steam and rich products around the eyes are the things to be careful with during the first 24–48 hours. If you have gym, sauna or swimming plans, mention them when you book so we can talk through the timing.
- Be gentle when cleansing and avoid rubbing your eyes.
- Use a clean spoolie to lightly tidy your lashes.
- Ask when to return to your usual mascara, eye cream and makeup remover.
- Choose a suitable lash-conditioning product if recommended, rather than experimenting with oils from your bathroom cupboard.
You don’t need to memorise everything before coming in. Ask us about your usual routine, and we’ll help you work out what needs a short pause.
Leave time for a patch test
If this is your first lash appointment with us, get in touch ahead of your preferred date to arrange the patch-testing requirements for your lift and tint. Allow at least 48 hours beforehand.
Tell us about any previous reactions, irritation around your eyes or recent eye procedures. A patch test helps us check for sensitivity, although it cannot rule out every reaction. If your eyes are sore or irritated, let’s discuss that before going ahead.
Before you book
Will I still want to wear mascara?
That’s up to you and the finish you enjoy. You may like the lift and tint on its own for everyday wear. Ask us when you can add mascara again after treatment.
Should I bring a reference photo?
Absolutely. It helps us understand whether you prefer a subtle lift or a more defined look. We’ll talk about what’s realistic for your natural lashes.
